Kenned, the troll from the Banshee bar, contacts Stanley and Context. He's got a corp Johnson who needs a thing. They meet the Johnson - not what they were expecting, decked out in retro punk gear with green hair - in a downmarket clothes mall in Kowloon. He needs them to steal an item from Renraku Components Group in downtown Hong Kong, and switch in a fake he provides them with.
After some haggling, they agree to 35k nuyen and a couple of fake burner SINs in payment.
Renraku Components is in a wing of the Slater building, on the outskirts of downtown. It leases out to four corps - Renraku, and Medco Diagnostics, Mandy Staffing and Callfriendly Call Services.
The runners throw themselves into legwork. Context astrally forces his way inside and discovers some barghest security hounds, and retreats at their terrifying astral howls. Stanley can't find a way into the Renraku or Slater hosts remotely. They switch to some classic plans - they contact Kenned and arrange some electronic passes to make them look like a plumbing contractor.
After Stanley finds some background online, Context calls Mandy Staffing and gets a job interview for the day after next.
16th November 2075.
Stanley and Context start physically staking out the building. They figure out the opening times, discover that their are only two security at night, and start trying to blend in with the employees on their lunch breaks. Context overhears a Renraku employee complaining, and homes in. He successfully convinces the employee to meet him in a nearby soycafe to discuss a little corruption. Impressively, Context coerces the employee to open an internal door to let the runners into the Renraku wing, with help from Stanley subtly pressing his holdout Fichetti Needler into the man's ribs. Context thinks this isn't enough and forces the issue, trying to get the employee to do the switch for them. Unfortunately, he rolls a critical glitch.... A passing soykaf barista accidentally spills espressoy over Context, and while trying to clean up she notices the gun and the terrified Renraku employee. She screams and hits the alarm. The runners cheese it and stay away from the complex (and the Knight Errant team taking statements) for the rest of the day.

Context and Stanley arrive for the interviews at Mandy Staffing. While waiting for their interviews, they quietly damage the Mandy Staffing toilets. In the computer-based testing, Context is a pervy douche to the secretary and gets escorted out, giving Stanley the distraction and time he needs to directly plug in to the Slater building host and amend the details for the Slater building's emergency plumbing contractors. Mario and Luigi Plumbing is born. A few hours later, the runners get a call from the Slater building admin, asking them to come fix the toilets.
The runners contact Kenned, who knows a guy who knows a guy who gets them a few hits of Narcoject, commonly used in stun darts. They buy a few beers (for the guards) and some meat (for the barghests) and get to work spiking.
That evening, around 2am, the runners arrive. They are met by the first guard, who they leave drinking a delicious beer. Context uses Detect Life to find the other patrolling and they go get him sedated too. The runners open the Renraku wing door using a security guard's badge. The barghests prove a bigger problem. Using Stanleys hacking skills and some timing, they get one hound snacking on drugged meat in the opening administration section. During this Stanley trips the host security and killer ICE bricks his deck. For the second barghest, the beast ignores the food and rushes the runners. It goes down in a hail of lead from Stanley's Ingram. The team make their way way through the rest of the complex, deftly avoid a pressure pad security system and make the swap. They leave to the sound of snoring security guards.

The duo make the swap with the Johnson. They get well paid (just as well following the 20k of expenses and the repair costs of Stanley's deck) and the promise of follow up work.
